Turkish hospits and matchmaking

According to Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, hospitals in Turkey have developed to such a degree that people are now visiting emergency units to look for girlfriends. Speaking at the Justice and Development Party's (AKP) weekly parliamentary group meeting today (July 12), he praised developments in the health service. Yıldırım said: "The days when people were refused in emergency units are over. Yesterday, a friend of mine told me something that quite attracted my interest: During Bayram, citizens go to the emergency units, do you know why? Not for treatment. They go for looking girlfriends". "Someone told me and I got surprised. In other words, hospitals became so pretty that [parents] are going there to make friendships and look for partners for their sons and daughters to start families," he continued. "So emergency units are not only giving treatments, they are providing a service for happiness and setting up families. This is the point we have reached". As usual, Turkish social media users started to make fun of this statement and some criticized him harshly, some sarcastically. One user shared the below video of an emergency unit fight, which is not a rare thing in Turkey, with the caption "One of those hospitals that Binali Yıldırım said had 'become so cute that people are visiting emergency units to search for girlfriends'".
