Help GOP Finding Cracks In Health Care Law

Official presidential portrait of Barack Obama...Image via Wikipedia
President Obama's health care law includes a new entitlement about disabled. The Obama administration is that CLASS for Community Living Assistance Services and Supports must be eliminate. The administration is justifying the elimination due to the reason that it would wouldn't be sustainable because of its cost. After much criticism from the leftists, the White House made it clear that the CLASS program would not be eliminated completely.

Premiums was being collected for years before any benefits would be paid and counting the money as savings and the program made the health care law looker cheaper than it really is. Republicans argue.

"A lot of the rest of the deficit reduction is smoke and mirrors, I believe, and I think it's pretty easy to show," Fox News contributor Bill Kristol said on "Fox News Sunday." "I think the Republicans now need to say this is just the tip of the iceberg. We need to repeal Obamacare.”

The CLASS required to be self-sustaining, meaning it could not add to the deficit as language added by the Republican Senator.

Late Monday, White House officials seemed to hesitate a bit on halting the CLASS program. "We do not support repeal. Repealing the CLASS Act isn't necessary or productive," Assistant Press Secretary Nick Papas said.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said "it defies logic" for the White House to admit the program is unsustainable, but "demand it stay on the books."

And the chief actuary of Medicare has warned the program would have to enroll 230 million people to be workable, or more than the entire American workforce.

Protein-Losing Enteropathy: Gastroenterology

HTML clipboard Introduction Protein-losing enteropathy is characterized by the severe loss of serum proteins into the intestine. Normal protein loss in the gastrointestinal tract mainly consists of sloughed enterocytes and pancreatic and biliary secretions. Albumin loss through the gastrointestinal tract normally accounts for 2-15% of the total body degradation of albumin, but, in patients with severe protein-losing gastrointestinal disorders, the enteric protein loss may reach up to 60% of the total albumin pool. The serum protein level reflects the balance between protein synthesis, metabolism, and protein loss. Protein-losing enteropathy is characterized by more loss of proteins via the gastrointestinal tract than synthesis leading to hypoalbuminemia. It is not a single disease, but an atypical manifestation of other diseases. Pathophysiology The pathophysiology of this disorder is directly related to the excessive leakage of plasma proteins into the lumen of the ...
