Swine Flu - Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)


Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Ministry of Health, Israel is planning a study on IBD patients. IBD patients are considered at increased risk of developing complications from influenza H1N1. The safety and efficacy of H1N1 vaccine are not investigated in this population of patients. We want an estimate of the efficacy and safety of vaccination against influenza H1N1 in patients with IBD treated with immunomodulatory drugs.

Seasonal flu is a common disease that occurs every year, mostly in the winter.
