Hot and dry summer is nothing new for us. When you feels melting skin, you need to follow these special tips. DIET As a rule of thumb, drink as much water as you can in any form like coconut water, butter milk and lemon juice minus the sugar. Eat moderate amount of food and avoid excessive eating as stomach disorders are high when full during hot months. AVOID: Food with unrequired fat and sodium content. Sodium causes water retention, further dehydrating the body. Salty peanuts, chips and oily stuff are bad too.
KIDDIES: If your kids complain of loss of appetite, give them compact meals, stuffed parathas, vegetables wrapped in chappatis, curd rice or raita khichri. Give them lots of coconut water, lemon juice or mixed fruit juice.

If consumed, it causes vomiting and food poisoning etc. The solution is to eat freshly-cooked food and boiled water and closed fruits like oranges, bananas, sweet limes. Summer coughs and cold: Sudden change in temperatures between the heat on the street and your air-conditioned premises results in coughs and cold. Similarly, other major causes are excessive consumption of iced water and cold foods. The remedy is set thermostat of your air-conditioner 26 degrees. This temperature is beneficial for both, you and electricity consumption as well. Consume less cold foods and beverages. Dehydration: Sun withdraws essential hydration from your body.
